Become a Clearance Partner
We are a China-origin ocean freight operator. Our containers discharge in 160 markets, and in every one of them somebody has to file the entry. If that is what you do, and you are licensed to do it, we should talk.
What partners get
Referred volume, not leads
Cargo we are already carrying, already booked, arriving at a gateway you already cover. You are not buying an introduction.
Named on the market page
Approved partners are the clearing agent behind their country page, which is where buyers researching that lane land.
Predictable settlement
Tariff agreed in writing before the first entry, settlement terms fixed, no per-shipment renegotiation.
Direct operational contact
You deal with the people who booked the container, not a call centre. Document problems get solved before arrival.
Who we accept
The network is vetted rather than open. This is not gatekeeping for its own sake — when an entry goes wrong our customer holds us responsible, so we check the things that actually predict whether it will.
-
1
Licensed in your own market
A current customs broker licence, AEO authorisation or the local equivalent, held by the applying company — not by an affiliate and not borrowed. We verify the number with the issuing authority before anything else happens.
-
2
Three years of operating history
Newly formed entities are not accepted. We need a track record we can check with people who are not you.
-
3
Liability insurance in force
Errors-and-omissions or equivalent professional cover, with a certificate we keep on file and diary for expiry.
-
4
Real coverage at the gateways you claim
If you list four ports, your licence has to cover four ports. We check this — it is the most common thing applications overstate.
-
5
Two contactable trade references
Forwarders or shippers you clear for now. We call them.
-
6
Clean sanctions screening
Company, directors and settlement bank screened against the applicable denied-party lists, and re-screened annually.
-
7
Willingness to run trial shipments
A minimum of three live entries under supervision before you take unsupervised volume.
How the review runs
Roughly three to five weeks end to end, most of which is waiting on the issuing authority and your references, not on us.
- 1
Screening
We check the application is complete and that your licence document is on file. Incomplete applications are not progressed — they are returned with what is missing.
- 2
Verification
The licence number is checked with the issuing authority, not just read off the PDF. Company registration, insurance certificate, sanctions screening on the company, its directors and its settlement bank, and two reference calls.
- 3
Trial shipments
A minimum of three live entries under supervision, with the tariff and settlement terms agreed in writing first.
- 4
Approval and review
Approved partners are re-screened annually and insurance expiry is diarised. Approval can be suspended — the same file that grants it records why.
A file cannot be marked approved in our system while any required verification is outstanding. That is enforced by the software, not left to whoever is reviewing it.
